OSHA recently revised the walking working surfaces rules in an effort to prevent and reduce workplace slips, trips, and falls. The revisions include fixed ladders, rope descent systems, fall protection systems including personal fall protection systems, and training on fall hazards and protection. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data, slips trips, and falls are a leading cause of workplace fatalities and injuries in general industry.
This training will not only address the current OSHA rules for walking working surfaces, but attendees can learn firsthand how to protect themselves from the hazards of slips, trips and falls by trying out our Slip Simulator which literally "walks" you through the safety precautions you should take when walking or working on slippery surfaces.
