Fall Protection Awareness

3M DBI-S ala Basic Awareness (1 hour) is the first step in basic fall protection awareness. Attendees will learn about anchorages and how to tie off correctly, harnesses including how to wear them properly, self-retracting lifelines, descent, and rescue.  Attendees will also learn about OSHA and ANSI standards as they pertain to fall protection. There will be a live drop demonstration focusing on the impact the body experiences during a fall.

May 3-7, 2021

Fatalities caused by falls from elevation continue to be a leading cause of death for construction employees, accounting for 320 of the 1,008 construction fatalities recorded in 2018 (BLS data). Those deaths were preventable. The National Safety Stand-Down raises fall hazard awareness across the country in an effort to stop fall fatalities and injuries.

Bo Solari - Representative
Shur-Sales and Marketing

Bowmen Solari is from Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.  He spent 9-years in the military service in the Iowa Air National Guard and has traveled all over the world in that capacity.  Bo worked in customer service and as a sales rep before joining Shur-Sales in 2017. Taking care of customers is Bo’s passion and number one priority.  He is a hardworking individual and won’t stop until the job is done.
