NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety (Registration Closed)

The triennial update of the NFPA 70E is here and we are pleased that The ESCO Group, an Iowa-Illinois Safety Council member, will be providing a 2-day training course guiding us through the new standard with emphasis on the updated changes from the 2018 edition. Some of the changes that will be covered include, definitions, general requirements for electrical safety-related work practices, establishing a safe work condition, work involving electrical hazards, plus 

General electrical safety including arc flash labels, shock and arc flash hazards
The current NFPA 70E guidance/requirements
Requirements for electrical safety programs 
OSHA guidance/requirements for electrical safety (1910.300 series) and LOTO (1910.147)
Multimeter safety, shock and arc flash PPE 

ESCO has representation on the NFPA 70E committee setting them apart from most of the competition. The training will include all necessary books, materials, hardware and documentation necessary to have, and prove that you have had the most educational and interactive safety training available today. ESCO offers courtesy responses to your safety and compliance questions even after the training class has ended. The ESCO Group has engineers, electricians and industrial automation personal to draw knowledge and experience from, offering solutions to any number of electrical safety concerns. 

Who should attend?
Any employee whose work or the work of those they supervise brings them or the employees they supervise close enough to exposed parts of electric circuits operating at 50 volts or more to ground; these employees include:

Supervisors, safety managers, those with responsibility for electrical safety programs
Electrical engineers, maintenance managers
Electrical and electronic technicians, engineers, equipment assemblers
Electricians
Industrial machine operators
Material handling equipment operators
Mechanics and repairers
Stationary engineers
Welders

 

Cancellation without penalty may be made up to three working days prior to the seminar date.  Cancellation after that date will be charged 50% of the fee.  You may avoid this charge by transferring your registration to another person.  Registrants who do not cancel are liable for the entire fee.  ALL REFUNDS WILL BE IN THE FORM OF A CREDIT VOUCHER.  This cancellation policy is standard with all Iowa-Illinois Safety Council sponsored programs.
