First Aid / CPR / AED

Why Choose the Iowa-Illinois Safety Council / NSC First Aid Course?

The National Safety Council (NSC) curriculum is cumulative and complete. It is up to date with the most current training recommendations including severe bleed procedures, CPR standards, and the use of Naloxone (NARCAN) for the emergency treatment of opioid overdose.

It is the First Aid/CPR/AED training of choice for industries like construction, law enforcement, logistics, manufacturing, and assembly, to name a few. The duration of the class, 6 hours, reflects one primary feature: It was created for businesses and organizations, like yours, for adequate on-site emergency response. This is the primary difference between the NSC curriculum and other curriculums designed for general education or for healthcare where too much information can be prohibitive.

The Iowa-Illinois Safety Council/NSC's First Aid/CPR/AED Class meets and exceeds OSHA’s training recommendations by ensuring adequate hands-on practical training is balanced with an engaging classroom study. Whether for compliance, continuing education, safety awareness, or necessity, your company’s commitment to a “safety culture” will be a highlight of your operations. Each participant will receive a personalized two-year certificate of completion.
