Specialist in Safety & Health - SSH

  • This is a fundamental certificate program requiring just four (4) courses
  • You can choose from General Industry or Construction Industry career certification tracks
  • Complete the OSHA 510 or 511 OSHA Standards course and choose three (3) other courses from the list of available electives
  • Courses can be applied toward an advanced level certification (CSHO)
  • Transfer up to two required courses from any OSHA Training Institute Education Center outside of Region VII.

Specialist in Safety & Health General Industry

Earn your SSH for General Industry by completing one required course (#511) and three electives. This is a fundamental certificate program requiring just four courses. Have you completed a course from another OSHA Training Center? Don't worry, you can transfer up to two courses to achieve this certificate.  Not all electives are available on our training schedule - contact us if you see a course you would like to take but isn't available below.

Specialist in Safety and Health Construction Industry

Earn your SSH for Construction Industry by completing one required course (#510) and three electives. This is a fundamental certificate program requiring just four courses. Have you completed a course from another OSHA Training Center?
