Trainer Course in Occupational Safety & Health Standards for General Industry

The OSHA 501 class authorizes participants who complete this train-the-trainer course to conduct 10 & 30 hour outreach classes to general industry and issue OTI general industry 10 and 30 hour participation cards. Course time is spent learning and practicing adult training techniques. Students will participate in the development and delivery of lectures covering general industry safety topics during class.

As a prerequisite for the class, participants must provide 511 class attendance verification
and management confirmation of at least 5 years of relevant safety experience.

Participants should bring a laptop computer.

This course is conducted in conjunction with the Great Plains OSHA Education Center.

Cancellation without penalty may be made up to five working days prior to the seminar date. Cancellation after that date will be charged 50% of the fee. You may avoid this charge by transferring your registration to another person. Registrants who do not cancel are liable for the entire fee. ALL REFUNDS WILL BE IN THE FORM OF A CREDIT VOUCHER. This cancellation policy is standard with all Iowa-Illinois Safety Council sponsored programs.
