Safety Roundtable
Greater Davenport | safety roundtable group
Let’s unleash the expertise of local safety and health professionals with open discussions of real life work place issues and accomplishments. Working with the Iowa-Illinois Safety Council, this will be a self-directed group that determines meeting frequency, agenda and subject matter.
As we decided in our last meeting, the group would like to hold meetings on a quarterly basis. Weather and holidays approaching, early November seemed the best time to do another Davenport Round Table. Our first meeting in September was a success, so let’s dive back in for more adventures in safety! Whether or not you made it last time, please join us and maybe even bring a friend. The conversation and idea sharing seemed to flow, so let’s keep the energy going!
The issue of Employee Engagement seemed to be on everyone’s mind, so why not discuss in depth? If you plan to see Gary Higbee at IISC’s Lunch and Learn, you will certainly pick up a few pointers, so let’s pass it on. Please bring any material you would like to share with the group. Networking and sharing is vital in the success of our group and organizations.
FYI, long-term we’re hoping to do the following schedule for future Round Tables. All exact dates, hosting and subject matter to be determined. We will be looking for volunteers to host and lead our discussions. Here’s the current plan:

Here’s a note from Anna regarding directions to her facility:
We are right off Interstate 80. Take the Colona exit (exit 7) and head west on Cleveland Road. You will cross the railroad tracks and head south at the stop sign. Our building is on the east side of the road next to Transmissions Plus. It is a small building with four large windows in front.
