Knowing how to respond to a first aid or CPR emergency is one of the most important skills a person can possess. The Standard First Aid, CPR and AED course meets the OSHA requirements and is your tool for training employees or the general public on the latest skills, techniques and expertise in life-saving procedures. The practice and feedback of using related skills in a realistic situation is integrated into the actual teaching experience.

Class price includes:

1 First Aid, CPR and AED Textbook & 1 BBP Textbook per attendee


This course exceeds minimum OSHA requirements for First Aid, CPR & Bloodborne Pathogens Training.

Certification is for two (2) years. Certificate and wallet cards will be issued upon successful completion.

This course is presented in accordance with the National Safety Council criteria. Text and certification are National Safety Councildocumentation. Instructors are certified by the National Safety Council.


Materials and instruction for seminars presented by IISC are provided in English. All attendees must be able to understand the information as provided. Non-English speaking attendees may provide their own interpreters to insure comprehension of the course content. Interpreters may assist the participant with testing and skills practice as necessary. Interpreters will not be charged for attending unless they require a certificate ofcompletion for the seminar. The presenter is required to insure that participants understand the course contents prior to awarding completion documentation.


Cancellation without penalty may be made up to five working days prior to the seminar date.  Cancellation after that date will be charged 50% of the fee.  You may avoid this charge by transferring your registration to another person.  Registrants who do not cancel are liable for the entire fee.  ALL REFUNDS WILL BE IN THE FORM OF A CREDIT VOUCHER.  This cancellation policy is standard with all Iowa-Illinois Safety Council sponsored programs.
