HOW COMPANIES CAN INFLUENCE SAFETY AT HOME AND IN THE FIELD

After your day at work is done, do you just retire your safety hat? Of course not! Strong safety cultures in the workplace can have powerful influence on safety at home. According to National Safety Council’s Injury Facts 2017, about 146,571 people died from unintentional injury-related deaths in 2015. That's an all-time high. Often, these tragedies happen when least expected – during a vacation, while doing chores at home or while driving across town – and they are all preventable.

Organizations can help protect families, neighbors and others in our communities by practicing injury prevention and encouraging people to change their behaviors. Dupont Pioneer is a leading advocate for workplace safety and strives to influence all their employees to adopt safe behaviors both on and off- the-job.
